  • Multi Skill Vocational Education as part of secondary school curriculum (9th/10th Grades) in the school with program delivered during the school timing. This course would introduce the student to the “World of Work” across multiple sectors during Grades 9th and 10th , not forcing them to make a choice at the Grade 9th of a particular vocational trade and provide a solid foundation of work preparedness for the students at the age of 14-16 years to advance to higher levels. They learn cross-sectoral skills like electrical wiring, gardening, welding, food processing, welding, health and hygiene etc. After completing such foundation course in Grade 9th and 10th, the students can opt for sector specific specialization (NSQF Level 4) in Grades 11th and 12th with assessment and certification by NSDC affiliated sector skill councils and the state board. Currently offered in schools across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana. Soon to be launched in Haryana, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Sikkim and Odisha. Interested in launching this innovative program all across India. Please visit www.lend-a-hand-india.org for more info. Show less
