About Us
Details of Education programme (s) School Leadership Trust (SLT) is one of the first projects in India whose mission is exclusively focused on developing the abilities of current School Leaders – school owners, headmasters, principals - so that they can drive high-performing schools that commit to and deliver academic achievement and character development of children from underserved communities. SLT’s programme is based on current international and domestic best practices and research regarding effective school leadership. The design of the SLT programme includes various components, including workshops, visits to high-performing schools, and on-site support. In addition, each leader will develop his/her individual portfolio of learning containing a School Development Plan, documenting his/her growth and the growth of his/her students. SLT’s model of training is city-based and provides on-the-job training that includes 15-30 days of training off-site per year as well as monthly school support visits by trained SLT staff. SLT leadership development programmes are 24 months in duration but extend beyond this through an alumni programme that includes continued support and training opportunities, in addition to peer learning and coaching.
