Key success indicators : Digital Literacy Confidence in using technology and modern teaching methods. Improved School Environment. Improved subject knowledge, conceptual understanding and critical thinking skill. Improved awareness to life skills. Enhanced proficiency in academic subjects.
Problem statement : Ensure Universal Access of ICT and other Digital Learning Gadgets among the students of Primary and Upper Primary classes in the age group of 6-13 across the UT of Puducherry. The main focus is Rural Students, to enable them to have an access to Digital Rich Environment which reduces the Rural-Urban gap and bridging gaps in their learning levels. To improve the Quality of Education at Primary and Upper Primary level by providing various digital smart facilities to the students at their school level itself. This project provides vide range of exposure to interact with Digital World and enrich their learning resources.
Proposed solution : The students of Primary and Upper Primary does not get enough exposure to the multimedia learning content as the secondary class children received through ICT labs. All kinds of learning and assimilation of knowledge starts at the primary and upper primary classes only. Hence providing a print rich multimedia through, • Smart classroom will enable a conducive classroom for the children to develop their constructive learning strategy. • The same way teacher of Primary and upper primary class will enrich their pedagogical method and get daily updated content.
