Key success indicators : All children participate in teaching learning process with adequate seating facilities i.e. duel desks.
Problem statement : The State Andhra Pradesh was bifurcated and new State of Telangana was formed on 2nd June 2014. Consequent to State bifurcation the staff of Educational Management and Supervision have been bifurcated and allotted to two States. The State of Telangana created new districts i.e. 21 to the existing 10 districts for reaching of Governance to all the habitations. There are 31 Districts being operational in the State. The focus is on to improve school ambiance. The state taking efforts by improving infrastructure i.e. toilets, drinking water, electricity etc. further there is scarcity of furniture i.e. Duel Desks for the children.
Proposed solution : A survey was taken up on School infrastructure and it is found that some of the Secondary Schools do not posses duel desks for the seating of students. It is also evident that students are taking their class X board examination by sitting on the floor. Now it is required to provide Duel Desks to the schools. The Department of jails Government of Telangana preparing duel desks and other furniture. The Department of School Education is procuring furniture from Jails department. In this regard external support is required to provide duel desks to all the Secondary Schools in the State.
